I read with interest your build of chris's turbo mini, I would like to know what your thoughts are on the Odyssey type 25 battery which Chris fitted, I run a 1380 Mini Jem which I Hillclimb. Over the winter I am doing usual upgrades and was wanting one of these batteries to replace standard battery so how good are they?
The Odyssey Racing Batteries should be perfect for something like that, but you really just need to aware of the battery limitations. They do need to be kept charged, so making sure the alternator supplies something like 14.4v of charge, and if the car is not in use, taking the battery off and putting it on a charger is recommended. The battery will not react well to being left in anything less than a fully charged state, or with a parasitic drain on it.
